Radio Livre/Free Radio at the WSF 2005

Na consideração a minha mensagem afixada precedente. Eu muito bem como ajudaria com o que programas e projetos estão sendo planeados para o WSF. Nós podemos doar algum equipamento à estação que foi fechada para baixo em Porto Alegre e para trazer jogos para transmissores e outros relacionaram o equipamento. Eu sou disposto ensinar oficinas e conduzir sessões do treinamento. O problema é que ninguém está começando traseiro no toque com mim e eu não quero chegar em Porto Alegre sem um indício a respeito de o que são planeados e de onde coisas esteja ocorrendo. Apesar das mensagens numerosas do email emitidas aos vários povos, eu tenho para receber ainda uma única resposta. Eu fui envolvido no movememnt de rádio livre por aproximadamente 12 anos e tenho muitos das habilidades e do conhecimento compartilhar de ambos como um coordenador eletrônico e uma activista dos meios. Alguém satisfaria começa-me no toque com.

In regards to my previous posted message. I would very much like to assist with whatever programs and projects are being planned for the WSF. We can donate some equipment to the station that was shut down in Porto Alegre and bring kits for transmitters and other related equipment. I am willing to teach workshops and conduct training sessions. The problem is that no one is getting back in touch with me and I do not want to arrive in Porto Alegre without a clue as to what is planned and where things will be taking place. Despite numerous email messages sent to various people, I have yet to receive a single response. I have been involved in the free radio movememnt for about 12 years and have a lot of skills and knowledge to share both as an electronic engineer and media activist. Would someone please get in touch with me. Thank you

INVITATION TO OTHER RADIOS AND PROJECTS
Free-Radio Strikes Back!

As decided at the Brazilian Free-Radio Meeting, ocurred in Floripa last October, people involved with the Free-Radio Project will meet again next January at the World Social Forum, in Porto Alegre - Brazil. At the Forum, we pretend to be doing the following:

- Alocate some area at the International Camp and some gear to assemble a infrastructure destinated to alternate comunication/media groups;

- Some internal discussion about the Free-Radio Network, that has been
delayed a few times;

- Give people access to knowledge and promote discussions about Free-Radios and other alternate comunications/media, and also about intelectual property and copyleft;

- To assemble a network of Radio transmiters and do some broadcasting together;

- Do some workshops about Free-Radio, Web-Radio and such...

All this together is a lot of things to do. Thas why we are inviting people interested in Free-Radios and free comunications to participate in the organization process of the meeting at the Forum.
